Excellent guide to the fundamentals of film making, and truly a joy to read! Enough technical information to completely understand the basics with some of the best visual examples out there, it does all of this without it being any bit overwhelming. The best part about the comic is the humor interspersed within the multiple story lines, I found myself reading it a third time in the same day and catching small details and hints throughout the comic ("Remembering Steve" see if you spot that!). Thiis small but instructional publication blew me away. I have always looked for books, DVDs or other instructional media that I could actually pick up and say, "now I get it". This guide sets everything out in a logical concise manner, and better yet, in a media selection that I could understand. Great gift for the budding "movie maker".....
